HPL was set up in 2010 to pursue international urban design and master planning projects. The company directors have a wide experience of urban development, particularly in the Middle East. HPL works with a network of other specialist practices to provide a full range of services for urban development.
Such collaboration brings benefits to clients both in terms of teamwork and the end results. By means of context-sensitive urban design we seek to provide a responsive service to clients aimed at improving all types of urban environment.
HPL is now engaged in the master planning and urban design of a number of new and expanded urban areas. Such towns and cities all benefit from the phased procedure of the master planning process.
Howgill Planning has the experience, urban design skills and professional approach appropriate to any size or type of master planning project, whether residential, commercial or mixed-use.
Each project is a challenge for HPL urban designers, architects and town planners who work as an integrated team. Where required we also work as a ‘stand-alone’ discipline alongside other consultants appointed by clients.
HPL seeks to create projects providing a flexible development framework that promotes sustainability and creates and enhances urban values. We seek at all times to respect communities and their heritage within a sound and attractive public realm.
